Following the luncheon on January 21st, the Baltimore Chapter hosted Coach Gene McCabe, the coaching staff and the current lacrosse captains at Mt. Washington Tavern for happy hour.  We had a fantastic turn-out!

We are also planning a squash tournament, Orioles game, accepted students reception and the 2nd Annual Crush Event for the Winter-Spring 2011, among other events.  We hope to see you at an event soon! The Baltimore Chapter will host a Back-to-School Happy Hour on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at the Oceanaire Seafood Room located at 801 Aliceanna Street in Baltimore.

All alumni are invited as are spouses and friends. The festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. and end at 8 p.m.

On January 13 and 14, Washington and Lee Men’s Lacrosse Coach Gene McCabe traveled to Baltimore for a pair of events with Baltimore Chapter Alumni. First stop on the tour was a happy hour at The Rec Room in Towson. The following day, Coach McCabe, alumni and friends met for a luncheon at the Elkridge Club.

Coach McCabe gave an update on the upcoming Men’s lacrosse season which opens February 23rd, when the Generals travel to Birmingham Southern (yes, they do play lacrosse in Alabama). W&L is looking to build upon a successful 2009 campaign in which the Generals won the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Tournament and advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament.
